Destini - Push (Ft.Doobie Newton)

This is our first time hearing music from Destini and we sure are glad she landed on our radar. With her illicit vocals, she manages to finesse the beat and sway listeners to stay for more. Colorado’s up and coming emcee, Doobie Newton, blesses the track with his reliable word-play which makes for a song that’ll be sure to land in everyone’s playlist.

Listen for yourself and leave your opinion in the comments.

Featured Mixtape: Tripper Jones – “Liquid Drops”

Tripper Jones, formerly known as Rithim, has been on our radar for a while now. Watching or better yet, listening to his progression thus far has given us evidence of how serious he is about his music. Coincidingly, his newest project “Liquid Drops” is the quintessential example of an artist striving to perfect their craft. Very few projects come out of the MileHI city where you can truly just hit play and vibe out… this is one of them. The crazy thing about “Liquid Drops” is that almost EVERY SINGLE TRACK is worthy of a repeat. Now that’s trippy.

Featured EP: DeColo – “Breakfast For Dinner”

With this being our first time hearing a project from DeColo, we must say we are pretty impressed. “Breakfast For Dinner” is DeColo’s first solo EP and it serves as a testament to his versatility and creativity as an artist.

Not only does he showcase an exceptional repertoire of punchlines, he also takes prime opportunity to demonstrate his developing singing ability, which is pretty impressive in itself.

Overall, “Breakfast For Dinner” is a brilliant introduction to the Colorado music scene for the simple fact that DeColo manages to use his artistry to tell a story most of us can relate to in one way or another.

If you trust our opinion, scroll down and hit play. You won’t be disappointed! This is #mileHImusic

Featured Mixtape: A Meazy – “The Real Ned Flanders”

A Meazy’s first solo project “The Real Ned Flanders”, has without a doubt set the bar for hip-hop album of the year in just 20 days of entering the new year. We assure you there’s no need to be skeptical as A Meazy has arguably delivered some of the best work we’ve heard come out of the CO.

In fact, this is the type of quality music Colorado’s hip-hop community should be rallying behind. Not to mention, A Meazy represents one of the many new faces in CO hip-hop that you’ll soon be getting accustomed to throughout 2015.

But enough of what we think, you be the judge…
