Joman
Biography

Since his first release on Beatport in 2008, Denver-based Joman’s career has continued to expand exponentially; seeing him make his way onto the roster at Electric Daisy Carnival Las Vegas, taking center stage at Red Rocks Ampitheatre, visiting the Beatport offices to broadcast live on their Ustream channel, producing sample packs for Beatport’s Sounds to Sample and ringing in the new year twice in a row at the massive Colorado Convention Center for Decadence NYE alongside the likes of ATB, Krewella, Wolfgang Gartner and more. On top of producing dozens of original tracks and providing his own vocals for them, he has collaborated and remixed for everyone from Adam K to Celldweller [his official remix of Celldweller’s “Best It’s Gonna Get” with former Deepsky member J. Scott G. received a 15-second feature in the CBS series, “How I Met Your Mother”] and broken into the Top 100 Charts several times. A resident DJ at The Church Nightclub, Vinyl Nightclub and frequenting Beta Nightclub (recently ranked the #1 club in the U.S.), Joman has had the opportunity to open the night for the likes of Gareth Emery, Gabriel & Dresden, The Crystal Method and many more.

An undeniable part of Joman’s success has come in the forms of unofficial remixes and remix contest entries. His remix of Deadmau5’s, “SOFI Needs a Ladder” was selected as one of 10 semifinalists in a Beatport remix competition with over 800 submissions and currently holds the spot as the #1 most downloaded remix of the song on Soundcloud. Both his Tron and Halo 4 soundtrack remixes stole the user votes and climbed to #1 almost instantaneously in both of their respective remix contests. The controversial video game developer Rockstar Games (creators of the Grand Theft Auto series) recently blasted his remix of Animotion’s “Obsession” from the GTA: Vice City soundtrack to their 3.2 million fans, Twitter and blog followers. And last but not least, his viral video, “Daymanstep” (a remix from the television series, “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia”) has climbed to almost 1,000,000 plays, was featured by Adult Swim as one of their Top 10 Internet Trends of the Week and even received praise from the show’s cast member, Glenn Howerton.

With over a decade of music production and DJ experience, coupled with a wealth of successes under his belt, it’s clear that Joman is well on his way to becoming one of the hottest electronic music acts out there.
